Enjoying a fantastic central position near the heart of Keswick, this spacious, refreshing and tastefully decorated townhouse provides warm and relaxing holiday accommodation for up to 12 guests. Perfect for larger families exploring a stunning part of the Lake District, and for groups of friends marking a reunion, this delightful slate-built property has wonderful views over the town and towards the surrounding fells. Set over four floors, this welcoming retreat has several extra features including a pool table and a piano and makes a fabulous base for walkers, climbers, water sports fans, cyclists and nature lovers exploring the surrounding woodlands, fells and lakes.
A step leads up into the large hallway where you will find a piano and other delightful furnishings before you head through to the lounge. Decorated in rich, dark tones, this fresh, inviting room has two separate seating areas, each with a cast-iron-effect gas fireplace. The first area is perfect for enjoying a movie, or you can curl up with a book or chat about the day in the smaller area to the back. The ground floor also has a peaceful twin bedroom, which can be made up as a super-king-size on request, along with an invigorating shower room. On the first floor, you will find the tastefully designed, fully equipped farmhouse-style kitchen with views towards Skiddaw. The kitchen also has a handy breakfast table, and you can get together to share a family meal in the spacious dining room which also features a window seat, TV and a pool table. The first floor also has a charming en-suite double bedroom. There are three further bedrooms on the second floor, all twin rooms decorated in delicate pastel shades, which can be made up as super-king-size rooms on request. The second floor also has a handy shower room and an airy bathroom with a brick-effect feature wall. Finally, on the third floor, there’s a large twin attic room with low sloping ceilings, a separate seating area and far-reaching views over the town. Outside, the enclosed garden has a lawn surrounded by plants and shrubs, and outdoor furniture which provides ideal seating space for a BBQ. At the end of the garden is a separate studio flat with its own entrance which can be booked along with this property.
