3rd time here and hopefully not the last, previous reviews have been quite negative about the cleanliness, tired looking garden and the parking space not being on site! Really! It’s fine, more than fine, it’s classed as a 3 star property, you get more than that, great location for walking into keswick, a big garden for the dog, a kitchen with everything you could need, a dedicated parking space about a 10 metre walk to the gate, comfy bed, great shower, if you need whistles and bells then I suggest looking for a 5 star property, this place is perfect, we did however miss the kitchen bar stools and we only had a key for the back door, but that was fine by us.

The cottage is lovely and well positioned but it is very neglected. Kitchen was not well equipped. The can opener was about least 10 yrs out of date and none of us could use it. We were left 2 very thin and well worn tea towels, one with a hole in it. They were constantly wet or drying on the line. The bath mat was absolutely disgusting, non of us would use it in the shower. The garden was completely overgrown. The whole building and garden were severely neglected. There was a gardener who came but only cut the grass. The shrubs were quite dangerously overgrown and both of us were scratched with thorns passing. It is such a shame because the bungalow is lovely and location very good.
