Guests say

Limhus House in Keswick is highly praised for its beautiful furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, and stunning views from the balconies. Guests appreciate its spaciousness, ideal location within walking distance to the town centre, and the added convenience of off-road parking. The property is celebrated for its cleanliness, comfort, and suitability for family gatherings and group stays.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently note the property's immaculate cleanliness. There was a minor mention of stained towels, but this seems an isolated incident in the context of overall positive feedback.

The location is highly regarded, being just a short walk from Keswick centre, shops, parks, and restaurants. The proximity to local amenities and activities contributes to its ideal positioning.

The property is described as comfortable and cosy, with spacious rooms suitable for families and groups. Comfortable beds and a modern, clean setting enhance the experience, although a request for additional pillows indicates room for improvement.

The well-equipped kitchen and modern fittings are appreciated, though there were issues with the gas fire and shower pressure. Maintenance responded promptly to the gas fire issue, but there was a lack of response regarding the shower leak.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches beyond the provision of facilities and amenities, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Perfectly located within short walking distance of Keswick town. 4 large double/king bedrooms with plenty of room for 6 adults, a toddler and a baby (and everything that comes along with them)! Kitchen had everything we needed and the lovely big flat garden was a bonus! Our stay was a very last-minute reunion with family from around the world - this home really made it for us. I would recommend to friends and hope to stay again if we return to Keswick! Thank you for a lovely experience.

The garden is superb for those with dogs.Having the towel rails come on for a while each day was a good idea. The shower pressure upstairs is not good and 2 towels were stained (but still clean). I would have liked 2 pillows in the main master bedroom. Good location, 10 minutes walk to the market square. We realised the front en suite shower was leaking on Wednesday. I tried to contact sykes about it but received no response. I was worried that the message had not been passed on for repair so put a note in the shower to make sure the next guests did not use it. I tried the message service online and the whatsapp but received no response.

It also has a balcony to the two rear bedrooms with amazing views. Ideal for a morning cuppa if the sun is shining.
