Oak Lea is an end terraced Lakeland stone property with the accommodation laid out over three floors, with each floor having mountain views. The furnishings are all very good quality, the bathroom and en-suite are both fully tiled and the kitchen is well-equipped.
Keswick is an excellent base for your holiday in the Northern Lakes, as there is so much to do, from walking to mountain biking, sailing, rock climbing or ghyll scrambling; there is surely something for everyone. For the less active, there are trips around the lake, two parks with bowling greens and mini and crazy golf, a theatre, leisure pool, numerous visitor attractions and great outdoor activity shops, as well as pubs and restaurants for everyone to enjoy.

My friends and I had a great weekend in this place. The cottage was good. Easy to find and exactly as described. Five minute walk from Keswick town Centre with lots of amenities right on the doorstep. Street parking was an isue as there were very few available places to park due to how busy it was, understandable given its proximity to town but potentially a big isue if carrying lots of luggage.

Excellent location and easy check-in. However theres severe damp in one of the bathrooms and all of the bedsheets had stains on them and one of the toilets didnt flush properly and the heating thermostat is locked so you have no control over the temperature of the house. Location and simple check in were the only saving graces unfortunately!
