Downstairs there is a large, bright and airy living room and a separate dining area for all to sit and enjoy good conversation and hearty meals. A well-equipped kitchen has enough space to prepare those family meals, complete with dishwasher and utility room. If the younger members of the group choose to be in their own space, there is also a separate living room. The bedrooms are perfect for large families or multiple couples, and each floor has either a bath or shower room. Families can enjoy the Puzzling Place or the Derwent Pencil Museum, or for a more sophisticated evening try the Theatre by the Lake or the Alhambra Cinema. Further afield the Lakes Distillery, 8 miles, offers fine dining and tours, and the Lake District Wildlife Park at Bassenthwaite, 8 miles, is perfect for all the family. Excellent house for larger group. There were 6 of us and it was perfect. Fantastic location in Keswick 5 minute walk into town centre. Only negative point is that back garden is not currently dog secure as fence is broken. We would definitely recommend and would go back again.

Large property, ideal for an extended family group. Free parking and walking distance in to Keswick. Enclosed rear garden, good for kids and canine friends. Plenty of space inside (and toilets) - bear in mind there are also a lot of stairs if you’re on the second floor.

Huge house, close to town, great facilities! Masive house, loads of things in the kitchen to make food etc, really well stocked. Parking easy and room for 2, lovely big garden. Spacious and great views. Easy walk to town. Nothing, for the price, the house was just great!
