Castlerigg is a well-regarded apartment in Keswick, praised for its central location, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests appreciate the well-equipped space, the inclusion of a parking pass, and the thoughtful touch of a welcome gift. While some guests mention noise from nearby pubs and minor issues with facilities, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Most guests find the apartment clean and well-presented. However, one review mentions it being dirty with hairs and dust, which suggests occasional lapses in cleaning standards.
The central location is highly praised for convenience, with easy access to local amenities and attractions. Some noise issues are noted due to proximity to pubs.
Guests generally find the apartment comfortable and a 'home from home'. There are some criticisms regarding the bed and bedding needing an upgrade and synthetic bed linen.
The apartment is considered well-equipped, but there are comments about dated appliances, lack of cleaning materials, and the hot water supply running out. A few small items like a cafetiere and corkscrew were missed.
While a welcome gift is mentioned positively, there are not enough references to consistent thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

Linens were all nice. Parking was easy to understand. Only issue was got water ran out during one day, resulting in a cold shower post-hike. If the 'boost' on the water heater had been made clearer beforehand, would be 5*

It was very clean, spacious and has everything youâd need. The location is fantastic. Good information from the owner in advance and very responsive. We had a problem with a car park penalty notice on our last day (which was a mistake). Contacted the owner who resolved it within an hour. There was a bit noise outside on the Friday evening because itâs so central but not enough to bother us and it didnât go on late. Worth it for the great location. We would definitely book again.

I noticed that the welcome books are out of date one has the right WiFi code and one doesnât, it also says check out is 10am but your site says 9am, the apartment was very cold on the first night maybe in colder months the heating could be put on for the arrival of guests, everything else was perfect, very clean and comfortable, has everything you could possibly need
