Follow the footpath that circles around the lake or jump on board one of the Ullswater Steamers to take in some unforgettable sights including Wordsworth s daffodils in spring and the Lakeland s highest mountains. Just 2 miles away, Pooley Bridge offers a good selection of amenities including cafes, gift shops, craft galleries, pubs and a well stocked village store. Meanwhile, a little further afield the market town of Penrith lies just 5.5 miles away and offers a choice of supermarkets and independent shops together with a park and ruined castle. Inside, this property is clean and contemporary with fresh neutral decor, carefully chosen furniture and fabrics and a home from home feel. Prepare tasty family meals in the light and airy kitchen, which is located on the first floor and equipped with a fan oven, gas hobs, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
