The edge of the Lake District is just 1 mile from here and walking routes that vary from gentle meanders to challenging fell hikes are easily accessible from the property. Ullswater (17.5 miles) is a great place to enjoy boating or fishing. Take a stroll around the lake path and visit the superb Aira Force waterfall. For further shops, dining and museums, head to Penrith, 11 miles away. Enter this 17th century Grade II listed property via an original low doorway into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Traditional beams and features such as the original fireplace add character to this space, while the modern furnishings and amenities make it practical.
