Park Lodge at Pooley Bridge Holiday Park is a contemporary log cabin just yards away from the shores of romantic Ullswater in the Lake District.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist hotspots, Pooley Bridge Holiday Park is a safe and friendly place for a family holiday and Park Lodge offers a high standard of comfort. The accommodation is all on one level reached by four steps, with a spacious open plan living area that's lovely and light and airy and decorated in contemporary country style. There are comfy sofas around a feature log effect fire, just right for a chilly evening, and a well-equipped kitchen. The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room with washbasin and WC, while the two twin rooms have use of the family bathroom with bathtub, overhead shower, washbasin and WC.
Step out through the patio doors and you can enjoy the gorgeous views over the park to the open countryside and the fells beyond. This is the perfect spot for dining al fresco or enjoying a glass of wine or a local ale as you enjoy one of the glorious sunsets for which the Lake District is famous. Off road parking is also provided.
Pooley Bridge Holiday Park has all the amenities for a fabulous family holiday. There's private lake access, tennis and table tennis, pool tables and amusements and a range of adventurous activities like pony trekking to nearby Barton Fell and mountain biking. Weekends only during October. During the summer season entertainment is laid on with children's discos, live entertainment, licensed bar and beer garden, during the summer school holidays a children's club is operated and there is a restaurant with take away service available.
Pooley Bridge is only 1 mile away with a traditional village inn, cafe and shops. The surrounding area is home to numerous quaint Lakeland villages scattered along the shores of Lake Ullswater and Aira Force is a dramatic waterfall cascading into the lake below. Sharrow Bay Hotel is only a short drive away for the ultimate in dining and is renowned the world over or a trip over Kirkstone Pass brings you into Ambleside where there is an abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants. The historic market town of Penrith is within 5 miles and has numerous shops, a heated indoor swimming pool, golf course and driving range.
