Step inside to the studio-style space, where there is a kitchen area to prepare mouth-watering meals with an oven and microwave to assist you. Settle down at the breakfast bar to tuck-into a snack or head outside to the arctic cabin, where you can toast marshmallows on the gas barbecue.

As the evening cools, retire inside and unwind on the sofa as you flicker through the TV with Freeview and enjoy a film night in. When sleep calls, there is an adult bunk bed, along with a shower room to prepare for the day ahead. For a memorable escape with your favourite person, consider Ash. The small village of Newby Bridge takes its name from the five arched stone bridge built in 1651 over the River Leven. The famous Furness Railway, one of Britain's oldest working standard gauge steam railways, runs between Haverthwaite and Newby Bridge. Visit the Lakeside Hotels and enjoy magnificent views across Windermere and the surrounding fells, or enjoy the Aquarium of the Lakes, where the naturally themed habitats, bring the history of the Lakes vividly to life. Bowness-on-Windermere provides a lovely day out, plus the picturesque village of Hawkshead still retains the charm and character that so endeared it to its most famous residents - William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter, and admire the views at nearby Gummer's How.
