Whilst the cottage was clean I wouldn't consider it spotless especially considering there are apparently extra cleaning processes in place due to Covid. There was no issue with it being 'dirty' as such, it's more there were some areas around the cottage that clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while - i.e. high around the ceiling where cobwebs had formed, the floor area behind the sinks in the bathrooms and along skirting boards and under the beds (we found a sweet wrapper under one of the single beds).

As I've said above this is a little gem, a beautiful place to stay, although this is a holiday park, there is no entertainment, but why would you need it when your in the lake district.
