Bow Fell kept coming up but it was fairly cheap compared to other properties in the area which worried us a little but as we were struggling, we decided to book, and we had a lovely few days. The property is very close to Bowness centre, with parking, which is a huge bonus. The property itself is a little tired but has everything you need and the shower is excellent. Negatives are the pillows are very hard with little give and quite uncomfortable and also, the smoke detector above the kitchen was covered with a sock! Probably better with a heat detector or move the smoke detector to somewhere less sensitive. Overall though, Bow Fell is very good for the price and we'd probably book again for a short break.
