High Borrans Holt is a beautifully presented 1 bedroom holiday lodge near Windermere. The lodge is stylishly decorated with a modern yet cosy feel – a welcome retreat after a day exploring. There is everything you might need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Holt sleeps two guests in one room, the master bedroom features a King Size bed and is complete with fitted mirrored wardrobe and bedside draws, leading on from the bedroom is the en-suite bathroom with free standing bath and walk in double width shower, ideal for a long soak after a day on the surrounding fells. The Living area provides everything you need for a home away from home experience. Enter through the side of the lodge where you will find plenty of storage for your walking gear. Sink into the leather sofa Infront of the electric fire with your favourite book or a glass of wine, enjoy a DVD or catch up on your favourite TV shows. The kitchen offers everything you need to cook a romantic meal, which you can enjoy together around the dining table and make plans for the days ahead.
High Borrans is a select development of 7 one-bedroom luxury lodges and a Shepherd’s Hut, just for adults, and some are dog-friendly, set in a secluded rural location alongside a working farm. This lovely spot is just three miles from the heart of Windermere, close to the main central lake's attractions, and you can set off on a walk or bike ride from your front door- as the Cumbria Way passes through the farm. It’s the perfect place to relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. From the moment you leave the main road and head towards High Borrans, you will sense peace and tranquillity of the area, driving down the country lane, through the traditional working farmyard and on through to the lodges. This is a quiet farm with no onsite facilities other than laundry and e-bike hire. As this is a working farm, please keep your dog under close control. High Borrans Dell is a wonderful place to make your home for a few days and completely relax.
The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Patio doors open out onto the deck, which is fully enclosed and gated with outdoor furniture.
BBQs are permitted on the gravel area only.
