All facilities used to the full including hot tub modern kitchen (as we ate in most days) but also did eat at Cuckoo Brow Inn a short walk away on a couple of nights, which we would also recommend. Host did provide a 'Meet and greet' on our Arrival, which was most welcome and overall would highly recommend (especially for a special occasion) Great views towards Windermere to front and Coniston Falls to rear giving instant 'weather update' We did benefit from great weather most of the week we were there, but accommodation would suit any weather. Property very pieceful whcih was ideal (Windermere area OK but the quiet was just what we were after) and little traffic even though close to Ferry road Close to Hill Top and other attractions with many 'Walk' options also nearby

The house was really lovely and comfortable, a d a great base for exploring a part of the Lakes we didn't know well..As we planned to cook a lot we appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and contents. Mark greeted us on arrival and couldn't have been more helpful. as soon as we can gather the whole clan together again we will go back, though it may be a few years away!
