Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage is consistently described as clean and well-presented. One review mentioned a log burner not being cleaned out, but this appears to be an isolated incident. Overall, the high standards of cleanliness contribute positively to the guests' experiences.

The location is celebrated for its amazing views and proximity to local attractions. Some guests noted the narrow access roads, which could be challenging for larger vehicles, but the location's charm and convenience are well-regarded.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and the cosy atmosphere. The spacious upstairs area is appreciated, although a few guests find the downstairs space slightly constrained when fully occupied.

The cottage is praised for being well-equipped, with a useful welcome pack and a separate utility room. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a fridge door problem, a noisy washing machine, and a wood burner issue. These are minor compared to the overall positive feedback on the facilities provided.

While guests are thankful for the welcome pack and find the property well-equipped, there are no specific mentions of gifts that would influence the thoughtfulness score. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score for this category.

It is in a very wonderful position. The approach is exhilarating but, as we prefer to leave the car parked as much as possible this is a minor issue. Because of the setting it was wonderfully peaceful particularly at night. The house itself is well equipped and comfortable. A most enjoyable stay in what is my favourite village in the Lakes.

Our only concern is that there is a very steep access to the cottage which might be daunting for larger vehicles and some drivers. This should be mentioned on the property details. This did not affect our stay thought.

Everything we could possibly need was there. Lovely convenient location for amenities and walks. Beautiful garden with spectacular views. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
