We’ve had the most delightful holiday! The house was exactly what we needed. Very clean, perfect for beautiful walks from the house. We will definitely try and come back. What a special place.

A fantastic location really close to the town. Parking pass is great but would struggle if you had 2 or more cars, especially considering the property sleeps 6. Lovely little garden in the front for use, some outdoor furniture would have been useful rather than have to move table and 2 chairs from front area down steps. What happens if there are 6 guests?Nice layout over 3 floors with fab views from the front bedrooms. Also having 2 bathrooms over 2 floors was great.Slightly disappointed that not even a welcome pack for 1st night of logs was provided.Kitchen would have been improved with another frying pan and a 4 slice toaster, as stated before it sleeps 6. Also no icebox/ freezer should be flagged especially for summer guests. Also not sure why check-in was moved from 3pm to 5pm, assuming due to shortage of cleaners.

The cottage is superbly located in Ambleside, short walk down the hill to the town and easy access to the hills for walking. Nicely presented and cleaner had a great time.Only very minor issue is the parking can be challenging but if you know the Lake District it goes with the territory, there is the supplied permit that allows car park access but it is a short walk away.
