A mere 2 minute stroll from the very heart of Ambleside, the location is perfect for enjoying walks from the door to Loughrigg Fell and the more challenging Fairfield range or perhaps a gentle stroll to Waterhead for a host of waterborne activities including rowing boats and the famous Windermere Lake Steamers.

Blessed with an open fireplace, dressed with local green slate, this feature is perfect for gathering around in the winter evenings and recalling the day’s events with space for the family pet in front of the hearth too!

Perfectly located near the centre. All clean Shower on top floor a bit rubbish but does the job. Handy to have washing machine

The location was amazing and we managed to park without an issue. Upstairs was clean and nicely presented with great views. Downstairs was slightly dated and kitchen equipment was lacking and the table was broken. There was no DVD player or DVDs which the blurb had said there was. Also the television didn't have freeview which it was supposed to but we were able to use the smart functions and watch through the apps. Overall we were happy and the space was great for a family. The enclosed garden worked perfectly for us having a dog and the neighbours were friendly.

Lovely accommodation for our 4 night Lake District stay. Lovely to be so close to the centre of Ambleside and all of our group commented on how comfortable the beds were. Views from the bedrooms were gorgeous and the garden perfect for the afternoon sun.
