What a lovely bungalow. Clean, cosy and really well stocked with everything we needed. The Christmas tree made it absolutely perfect. The property is so well positioned too, just a few minutes and you're in the centre of Ambleside. Couldn't have asked for more - thank you !

We have stayed here several times, but this is the first time since it has been improved. We like the alterations and appreciate the off road parking and secure garden for the dog.

However, we were surprised that there weren’t any shower mats for when you stepped out, we ended up using the hand towels. A bag of logs & kindling would have been nice for the open fire even if it was on an honesty box basis. We were also a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a welcome pack on arrival as we’ve had one in nearly every other place we’ve stayed & found this a nice touch. Having said all this, these are only minor observations. It was still a lovely property in a great location & would happily stay there again.
