The cottage was well placed with easy access to village shop and pub. It had loads of walks around itI don’t know if renovation work was part way through at the cottage but it was very dusty. The wardrobe in the downstairs bedroom had tins of paint and ladders in it.I left a note for the cleaners as there is a water leak in the downstairs bedroom above the washing machine.

had a lovely time very good place for walks and a lovely place to stay easy to fine shop and pub only 10 mins away on foot it was nice to see the sheep eat just out side the front door dont need a lawn mower would stay again thank you

We stayed for a week in summer holidays. Great location with lots of walks from the doorstep! We visited lots of places all within around a 20 minute drive. There is a frequent bus route too if you want to leave the car! On arrival at the house there were lots of cobwebs and we did feel it could have been cleaned a little better. The furniture in the bedrooms is quite dated although the main living area and the bathrooms are fine! The downstairs bedroom wardrobe was unusable and it felt a little damp, we were greeted by a toad in the bathroom one morning! We mostly used the front door as parked at the front of the property but couldn’t lock the porch door as no key provided. Could do with a doormat in the porch to save the cream carpet! Would definitely stay again for the location if bedrooms are updated.
