Guests say

Ramblers Roost is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and superb location with easy access to local amenities and walking trails. Guests appreciate the well-equipped property, the beautiful shared garden, and the stunning views. While there are mentions of a dog disturbance and a mould issue, these are outliers in an otherwise glowing set of reviews.

The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, with many guests noting its beautiful condition. One mention of mould and a strong smell in the bedroom suggests a possible isolated issue, but overall, the feedback on cleanliness is overwhelmingly positive.

The location is frequently highlighted as perfect, with easy access to Grasmere, stunning views, and direct access to walking trails. Its proximity to local transport and amenities is also appreciated, making it an ideal base for exploring the Lake District.

Guests find the property very comfortable, with a cosy atmosphere and a comfy bed. The peaceful environment contributes to the comfort, although one review mentioned a noisy dog in another apartment. Overall, the comfort level is rated highly.

The property is well-equipped, with a well-serviced kitchen and facilities for dealing with outdoor gear. Speedy maintenance response is praised. However, there are minor issues such as a difficult key box and a single review mentioning a damp smell, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance.

Several reviews mention thoughtful touches like a starter pack of essentials and informative books about the area. While these gestures are appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches, although delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Better than descibed in some respects - e.g. included a dishwasher in the kitchen area, and a good selection of books, maps and games.
