This charming property is found just off the main street in Windermere itself and is ideal for guests wanting to place themselves within the town’s popular amenities. A short stroll to the pretty town centre finds a selection of restaurants, cafés and shops with something for everyone.
Windermere offers an ideal base from which to explore the Lakes. How you do this is entirely up to you! Trains run regularly from the local station, just a short walk away. The much loved Lake Windermere steamers depart from nearby Bowness, another hugely popular Lakeland town. Walkers of all abilities will enjoy easy access to fabulous routes literally from your doorstep. It’s not just the great location of this holiday home that guests will find a bonus. We felt truly welcome in this house, which enjoys a central yet quiet location. It is just a short distance from the local shops and restaurants in Windermere. The house is clean, comfortable, and finished to a high standard. It is an inviting, renovated holiday home featuring three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. A separate toilet would be convenient when staying with a full group of six people. The parking space behind the house is quite tight, but we did manage to park our car there every day. Very friendly and helpful host!

A well appointed cottage a minutes walk from Windermere town centre. Everything that you need to be comfortable, and a responsive owner if you do have questions.Only a short bus ride from Bowness and Lake Windermere (or maybe a 25 minute walk downhill), and major attractions in the area within around 10 miles.

Nice cottage for a few nights, could do with a little bit of an update though. Good communication and lovely welcome package. Very flexible with checking in and out. There is a lot of rules when you check in and out..
