Parking permit for 1 car and room for Parking 1 reasonably sized car horizontal to the rear of property. No smoking.. A delightful Lakeland cottage in a central location. This charming property is found just off the main street in Windermere itself and is ideal for guests wanting to place themselves within the town’s popular amenities. A short stroll to the pretty town centre finds a selection of restaurants, cafés and shops with something for everyone.

Windermere offers an ideal base from which to explore the Lakes. How you do this is entirely up to you! Trains run regularly from the local station, just a short walk away. The much loved Lake Windermere steamers depart from nearby Bowness, another hugely popular Lakeland town. Walkers of all abilities will enjoy easy access to fabulous routes literally from your doorstep. It’s not just the great location of this holiday home that guests will find a bonus. This property benefits from a fabulous wet room and delightful, well equipped shaker style kitchen. Combine these with the cosy lounge and beautifully presented dining room and guests will appreciate the careful attention the owners have put into creating a holiday cottage with that special home from home feel about it. Shop 100 yards, pub 200 yards and restaurant 50 yards.

    A well appointed cottage a minutes walk from Windermere town centre. Everything that you need to be comfortable, and a responsive owner if you do have questions.Only a short bus ride from Bowness and Lake Windermere (or maybe a 25 minute walk downhill), and major attractions in the area within around 10 miles.

    Nice clean and comfortable house in a great location from which to explore the lakes. Despite being right in the middle of Windermere it's still nice and quiet at all times. The property contains all the essentials plus the owners provide lots of information on the house and local amenities and a really rather nice welcome pack. The bedrooms are spacious and beds comfy and all things considered I think it's very good vfm. We elected to use the parking permit (provided) and park on the street as it's undeniably tight in the space at the rear of the property and there were several other chunky cars coming and going. We had absolutely no problem finding spaces close by - perhaps it's different at peak holiday time but if not then I'd definitely recommend street parking as a stress free alternative.We were lucky with the weather (well, mostly) and had a great time exploring various fells tarns and lakes, so if you like the great outdoors then I'd thoroughly recommend visiting the area, and this house makes a great base from which to do that.

    We loved our stay at this cottage! The place was cozy, clean, and felt very safe throughout our entire stay. The location is perfect close to everything we needed and very convenient for getting around. Tim was amazing and so helpful, always quick to respond and made us feel very welcome!
