Excellent base for exploring the Lake District. Only one mile from Bowness, a 15 minute walk. We had a great stay for three days and would highly recommend. Only one issue, it clearly states parking for three cars on Sykes website, but the rear parking only had room for one SUV or two small cars. However there were plenty of options for off road parking and although Windermere was busy we managed to park one car outside the house.
