Perfect for our stay. We had a very rainy week but we're still able to get out and explore in the car. Bowness-on-Windermere is very close to the house. It was great to be able to get the car ferry across Lake Windermere. The house had everything we needed, with supermarkets nearby in Windermere. Good selection of books and puzzles in the house. Parking was on the street, but was never a problem finding a space close to the house. We all had a great week!
