Lovely quiet location, car recommended to get to local amenities. No toiletries in bathroom. One mattress had a stain on it. Lots of books and guide. Recycling guidance was not clear. Overall a good holiday base.

Nice cottage, quiet location yet a enjoyable half mile walk to bowness. Cooking utensils, oven and baking trays a bit grubby, obviously from previous occupants. The dinning chairs could do with covering as someone seems to be peeling off the "skins" of the seats !All in all a good week with the grand kids. Handy parking spot at the back of cottage, as the other spaces seem to fill up quickly.Would recommend
