Pine Rigg is within a complex of apartments known as Quarry Rigg, ideal for those looking for a central location within walking distance of a variety of shops and a good choice of restaurants close at hand. There is a regular bus service and the railway station is situated close by for holidaymakers preferring to use public transport. Pine Rigg is within a few minutes walk of the lake and is furnished in a contemporary style and we are sure that much use will be made of the balcony for ’al fresco’ evenings whenever possible.

No wi-fi, not one tea bag or carton of milk, no towels provided,no instructions about anything,no coasters or placemats,curtains hanging off the rail in bedroom when we arrived!

On arrival all looked good only to discover no cooker as switch eas jammed on off position so had to rely on microwave not ideal.also tap in bathroom came off in my hand could not use hot water on sink without using pliers to turn.beds were comfy gr8 nights sleep very quiet at night.balcony was a plus. Could not open windows without using wd forty as they were seized up.also could do with street lighting in area as its pitch black at night walking back to apartment.
