Guests say

Guests have found T'whit T'woo to be a cosy and comfortable cottage with lovely views and a convenient location for exploring Windermere and its surroundings. While some minor issues were mentioned, the overall experience has been positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is generally well-maintained, with guests noting its cleanliness. However, there were comments about a damp smell in the bedrooms, which suggests room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its quiet setting and proximity to Lake Windermere and local attractions. The private footpath to the lake is a highlight, although one guest mentioned an undisclosed steep incline.

The cottage is described as cosy and warm, with adequate heating. Comfort was slightly marred by one guest's experience with mice and another's difficulty with a lack of hot water in the bathroom sink.

There is insufficient information to accurately score the facilities and maintenance as a whole. While some guests were satisfied, issues such as no hot water in the bathroom sink and ongoing building works were noted.

The welcome bottle of prosecco was appreciated by guests, indicating thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gestures are not guaranteed and may vary according to the owner's discretion.

Lovely & quiet location with a small view of Windermere. You can walk down to the Lake from the property, on a private footpath. It is ideally located for access onto the major tourist routes.

The bungalow is well situated and has practically everything you need. We did struggle to find space in the kitchen cupboards for food though and ended up storing stuff on the worktops. The walk to the jetty and the jetty itself is lovely with amazing views of Lake Windermere. Hardly any beach area though which was disappointing as we would've liked to walk along a bit. The bedrooms both had a whiff of damp, especially the smaller room. We ensured windows were opened while we were in. It was cold while we were there so used the heating at times which soon warmed up the bungalow. Perfectly placed to reach so many places such as Bowness, Windermere Town, Ambleside etc.

Cosy with all mod cons and great water pressure (better than my own house). Chose this one down to location and having a car parking space, as well as being central for our preferred locations. Only recommendations, we would have is to have a welcome pint of milk rather than the Proseco, but other than that both my wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely, plus we had 4 full days of sunshine!
