The Birches in Windermere is highly praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and modern decor. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, en suite bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The property's location is ideal for exploring Windermere and Bowness. Some concerns were raised about garden security for dogs and the absence of a welcome pack.
Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, with only a single mention of an uncut lawn which does not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback.
The location is frequently highlighted as perfect, with easy access to local attractions in Windermere and Bowness, contributing to a high score.
The property is commended for its spaciousness, comfortable beds, and en suite bathrooms. The underfloor heating adds to the comfort, although there was a minor issue with road noise.
Facilities are generally well-received, especially the kitchen and entertainment options. However, points are deducted for maintenance issues such as blocked toilets, faulty drawers, and garden upkeep.
While the property offers many conveniences, the absence of a welcome pack, which guests do not always expect but find delightful, suggests room for improvement in thoughtfulness.

Weâve been coming to The Lakes for years and this has been the best property so far, great location between Bowness & Windermere, beautiful decor, all mod cons. Beds were super comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. The owner went above and beyond when we had a very minor issue. We would definitely book here again. Thank you
David
Excellent well equipped accommodation to a very high standard. Highly recommended.

Road noise was a little loud but we soon got use to it, maybe curtains in the bedrooms would help this, would definitely book again.
