The Boat House at Louper Weir in Windermere is a highly praised holiday rental, celebrated for its stunning lake views, modern amenities, and tranquil setting. Guests consistently commend the property's cleanliness, luxurious touches, and the inclusion of a kayak and hot tub. While the unique spiral staircase and challenging driveway access are noted, these do not detract significantly from the overall exceptional experience.
Guests frequently mention the cleanliness of the Boat House, describing it as well-maintained and equipped. There are isolated comments on areas for improvement, but these are minimal compared to the overall positive feedback.
The location is highly praised for its breathtaking views and serene atmosphere. The proximity to the lake and the inclusion of a private jetty are particularly appreciated. However, some guests find the narrow access road challenging.
The comfort of the Boat House is generally well-regarded, with a comfortable bed and well-furnished living areas. However, the spiral staircase and the difficulty it presents in moving luggage and nighttime bathroom visits are recurrent concerns.
The facilities, including the kitchen gadgets, hot tub, and kayak, are frequently highlighted as outstanding. Some guests suggest improvements to the staircase and provide feedback on maintenance issues, which slightly affects the score.
While guests express gratitude for the high standard of the property and mention thoughtful touches like a card and mocktails, there is insufficient information to determine if such gifts are a consistent offering, and they should not be expected.

It was perfect for the type of break we were after - a thoroughly relaxing place with everything we needed. Everything there was of the best quality, in excellent order and very clean. We made use of the hot tub and the kayak and even got to see the Northern Lights! (Sorry, I realise that can't be guaranteed for everyone :). The only thing I would say is don't take one large suitcase - that's what we did and struggled on the spiral staircase! We would recommend this property to everyone.
