Horncastle is a bustling market town known as the Gateway to The Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town offers antique shops, pubs, tea rooms, cafes and restaurants. Close by quiet roads lead to pretty villages and market towns, including Spilsby, Alford, Louth, Market Rasen, and Caistor. The fun of the seaside is just 20 miles away with many sandy beaches to enjoy at Skegness, Ingoldmells, Sutton-on-Sea and Theddlethorpe. Spend a day discovering the cobbled streets of the hilltop cathedral city of Lincoln with it’s castle, museum and shopping at Bailgate and the Waterside shopping centre, plus the beautiful nearby town of Woodhall Spa is known for it's two top class golf courses. There are several aviation attractions in the area including the world-famous Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby, only 7 miles away.
