My wife, Dog and I had a wonderful week in Sparrow farm cottage. The property is well designed equipped and very comfortable, with a lovely private garden to the rear, plus the benefit of being able to explore and enjoy the grounds around the owners house, where we were able to meet their three friendly pet sheep and 18 totally free range chickens. Our perfect hosts Ian and Juliet went over and above to make our stay a great one, always on hand in case needed help or information. Ians sourdough bread with honey from the hive at the end of the garden was fantastic. The property is set in a lovely quite area yet only about 14 minutes drive into Dereham with it’s supermarkets. We particularly enjoyed a vintage train trip from Dereham to Wymondham to have lunch and explore the Abbey. Our dog is quite elderly is not up to much walking so we spent a lot of time in the Cottages garden and the surrounding grounds soaking in the peace and tranquility… magical time. Highly recommend. Thank you Juliet and Ian

Juliet is a fabulous host in an incredible setting. As an architect she has designed the barn conversion herself and everything is stylish and innovative...especially the free-standing bath! You can enjoy honey from their bees, meet and greet the pet sheep and your dog will be welcomed by their dogs (who are kept in a separate area). If you are willing to drive a bit further to the Broads and beaches...this is a perfect holiday hideaway.

Rarely seen such a well-thought out cottage and beautiful garden. We and the dog could fully relax in the evenings and have been well located to explore the region during the day. Beautiful design, tasty welcome pack, welcoming and kind hosts - we couldn't ask for more. Looking forward to hopefully come again soon!
