Nice birthday celebratory breakaway. Hot tub was nice. Old property with character, log burner nice feature. Well equipped kitchen in main house.Family of 10, we ate together in large dining room. Some low doorways and uneven hallway. Third parking space only suitable for small car though. ( some on road parking available)Plenty of Takeaways in nearby Watton and 2 large supermarkets 5mins drive away. Visited Sandringham Estate. Lovely day out. Worth a visit. Plenty of places to visit. Kids loved going to local park which is short walk away. Wooded area for dog walking.

We enjoy older properties, with their character and charm. Our stay took advantage of the combined cottages, and the annex. Part of the pleasure and fun of our stay was finding out about all the rooms, and their amenities, and then remembering the direction you need to head to end up in the one intended! A very warm and welcoming house with that timeless feel of its continuous occupation over many years. Our stay was for the purpose of the Alheimers Society walk around Holkham Hall on 1 August. Horeshoes is just the place to prepare for such an endeavour and to relax and recover after. Including the good beer at the Old Bell... And the Norfolk countryside and coast is a delight.Thank you.

Beautiful cottage, and perfect for a large family weekend away as all the rooms were in different sections so we were able to have little areas each. More than enough sitting rooms, and such an interesting and well decorated property. The location is a quiet area, and you had to drive for things to do, but that was fine with us, and staying in the house playing games and using the hot tub was perfect. Lots of pubs, and take away nearby and there is a big Tesco less than five mins down the road. We arrived to a lovely welcome basket, and had everything we needed for the weekend at the house, was great. Would definitely stay here again.
