Yaxham Waters is set in 15 acres of wonderful parkland in the heart of rural Norfolk with views of the Mid Norfolk Steam Railway which runs along the back of the park.
Offering an idyllic location Yaxham Waters is home to two well stocked fishing lakes, one of which is for the sole use of visitors staying at the park.

We have been here twice now and both times the staff went above and beyond to get us in before check in time so we could get some fishing in on the day we arrived. The lodge itself is cleaned to a very high standard and is always spacious and well maintained. The fishing is great, not much of a large size in the lake but you're always guaranteed plenty of fish. The downsides are as follows: The beds in lodge 6A are very uncomfortable, the singles especially. The sofas in the lodge are as equally uncomfortable. The shower screen is tiny and doesn't cover the entire shower so you end up spraying water all over the bathroom. The TV isn't tuned in and has minimal channels and the quality could be improved.

Cushions for outside furniture very thin and badly stained.All mis matched crockery and utensils,some bits missing like measuring jug,knives missing out of the knife block.Only half a toilet roll supplied.Broken remote control cover on the back,batteries kept falling out which is dangerous for kids and pets.

We have stayed before and love the fishing. However the lodge was in need of a very deep clean. The carpets were disgusting and the smell in the lodge was horrible we had to buy air freshener and scented candles. Their was big cobweb on the blind in the kitchen which had obviously been their for some time. Also the blind could of done with a wash. The sofas were disgusting full of crumbs and hairs which was not nice if your sleeping on them. Also my daughter sat on a kitchen chair which collapsed. I am going to contact yaxham to let them know. Considering how much we had to pay for the week. I did expect a lot better. We love this place and would return but not to theses two lodges that we booked.
