Holme-next-the-Sea is a sleepy village on the North Norfolk coast, which is a great place for scenic walks and cycling. In the village itself, you can try some freshly caught seafood from the local eateries. From the property, it is less than 1.5 miles to the seafront, where you can relax on the golden sandy beach and explore the windswept sand dunes. Titchwell Nature Reserve (3.5 miles) has a number of freshwater lagoons which are full of wildlife, and it’s a wonderful place for a picnic. Burnham Market (9.5 miles) is known for its boutique shopping and market stalls selling arts and crafts, homeware, and fresh, local produce every Wednesday.
Approach the property from the long driveway – an apt entrance to such a spectacular home. Stepping inside, you’ll have the choice of two lounges. The first has two plush sofas and two comfortable chairs which surround the wood burner and TV, the perfect place to gather and enjoy a film or play some games. The second lounge has one sofa and views of the garden, and is a lovely place to disappear to for some tranquillity. Heading into the dining room, there’s a large table with plenty of chairs for a group sit-down meal. When it comes to cooking, the kitchen has plenty of surface space as well as an Aga, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Also downstairs is a shower room with a WC. Climbing the stairs up to the first floor, there are four bedrooms and a family bathroom. Settle into the elegant master bedroom, which has a king-size bed and a delightful en-suite with a shower and WC. The spacious second bedroom has twin beds inside. A king-size bed can be found in the third bedroom, and the fourth bedroom is another twin room. Run a hot bath in the family bathroom, which also has a modern walk-in shower and WC. Up another floor is one large bedroom that has a total of four single beds inside, along with an en-suite bathroom with WC. The top-floor bedroom and bathroom have sloped ceilings.
This spacious property is accompanied by 1.5 acres of gardens, most of which is laid to lawn. There are also two furnished patios so you can sit out and enjoy the sunshine. Private parking is available for five cars.
