Lodge is fine but, it is shockingly equipped. No towels on arrival, no tea towel, nothing to wash up with - lacking any bare essentials for the cost of the stay. Sofa and chairs aren’t comfortable. Would have been better off sleeping on an ironing board then the beds and the pillow provided is better described as two pieces of paper stuffed with a cotton bud. If you could get a decent night sleep it would be a totally different experience.

One person in group found beds too hard. Few problems that needed sorting eg towel rail not working, water not hot enough, mirror in bathroom not working. Staff dealt with all issues immediately. Well done to them.No blinds up in bathroom or en suite. Glass obscured but people could walk pass the window and see shapes of people getting in and out of bath/shower.Don’t think lodge was in best position, wouldn’t have felt relaxed sitting on decking eating a meal with people walking by.
