About this property
Located in the rural village of Ringstead, Manningham House is lovely comfortable detached family home, built of warm local carrstone and in an enviable location. There's loads on your doorstep and you're close to the coast, but set back from the traffic and bustle.
At the heart of the home a beautiful modern kitchen / dining room stretches the width of the house, with an Aga, separate conventional hob and oven, extensive granite worktops and a stylish central island. It offers all the essentials you will need to knock up a great feast at the large oak dining table. There are also two sitting rooms, one with and one without television, and both with cosy open fires and comfortable sofas to sink into. French doors open from the dining area onto the pretty enclosed back garden, where you will find garden furniture to relax or dine alfresco, and a good lawn and undercover table tennis for more active guests.
Upstairs is comfortable and spacious for multi-generational families or groups of friends. It offers two large double rooms and two good sized single rooms, all with a gentle nod towards the traditional character of the property. There's a luxurious roll-top bath as well as a separate shower cubicle, and the master bedroom has an additional en suite shower room.
Positioned centrally in the village, Manningham House is just down the lane from the acclaimed Gin Trap Inn and the lovely village shop which supplies organic produce and the most incredible warren of rooms selling everything from kindling to cards and antiques to art supplies. Ringstead also boasts a children’s playground with small bike ramp for little ones and access to some fabulous walks; Peddars Way, Courtyard Farm, Ringstead Downs, and more.
Situated less then two miles from the stunning beaches of Old Hunstanton, Thornham and Holme, with Titchwell and Snettisham Nature Reserves close by too.

What a fantastic stay - it was perfect for me and my 13 and 14 year old kids. Well equipped house, stunning location, immaculately cleaned. Kids loved the games room and I loved being able to set up my laptop to home work in the office space. Towels were not included, but everything else was there. Tesco and Sainsburys just five mins away. Would definitely come again, thank you so much for making this place a holiday retreat!

Lovely stay in this great house. Very cold when we were staying so the wood burners have been enjoyed, very cosy. Super well equipped house and nothing was needed. Had a fab meal at The Gin Trap. Thank you for everything. Fascinating history of the property too.
