Sand Cottage lies close to rspb Snettsiham and the lovely coastline. You can head to Heacham and explore the sand dunes or a little further to Hunstanton where you will find a host of seaside attractions including a Sea Life Centre and seasonal boat trips out to see the seals. History buffs should make time to explore the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn and the Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton Estates. And, having worked up an appetite you will find lots of great places to eat too, many of which serve local produce. And with lots of year-round dog friendly beach walks and cafes and inns that allow you to bring your fur-friends along too, this is a great location for dog lovers. Another lovely stay at Sand's Cottage. Easy to book, no issues (phone number provided in case there had been).Location is great for quiet (out of season) stay exploring West Norfolk, nature reserves, beaches etc. We made good use of the brilliant bus services around there, though it's a bit of a trek or short car ride into the village and bus stops. The bungalow is a great base, a few things seem overlooked or a bit uncared for, but generally very comfortable, clean and cosy. Thanks for the welcome wine!

Excellent location. Lots of equipment and comfortable furnishings. However. Inside requires some decorating and attention to details ie blinds need repair, soft furnishings are a little worn. Outside areas, gardens, fences and outbuildings definitely require attention as looking rather shabby, broken and neglected. Only one dustbin, which was overflowing and was not emptied the week we were there. Shame, as it could have been 5 star.
