So much space surrounds The Granary - it stands in perfect rural seclusion, reached by its own tree-lined avenue, and is set on the edge of the owners’ sheep farm. It boasts a contemporary and calm interior design throughout, and the ground floor rooms are large and light filled. Comfortably furnished and equipped, it makes a superb holiday venue for large families or groups. Large floor-to-ceiling windows, the length of the property, enable outstanding views to be enjoyed across meadowland. From the sofas or the huge dining table, guests can watch sheep grazing lazily in the fields, observe the wildlife on the busy farm pond (fenced), and spot the barn owls which hunt from ancient oaks. Guests can use the wall-size map of Norfolk to plan days out and about in the surrounding area.
There are walks and trails to enjoy around the farm (with unfenced ponds). The spectacular unspoilt Norfolk coastline and traditional market towns of Swaffham, Ely and Kings Lynn, are within easy reach. Year-round there are activities and attractions for all ages including Gooderstone Water Gardens, Stowe Farm, Grimes Graves, Welney Nature Reserve, High Lodge Forest Adventure Park and Norfolk Cycle Way. There is a good cycling network of quiet lanes from the doorstep, and plenty of space to kick a ball, play cricket or practise frisbee skills. Shops, pubs and Oxburgh Hall (NT), 1 mile.

A beautiful cottage on a farm with lovely views. The cottage is spacious, clean and very well equipped. Six very comfortable bedrooms and 3 well appointed bathrooms.The location of the property is convenient for exploring the north Norfolk coast.Would highly recommend.

The Granary was the perfect place to stay for my 50th birthday celebrations. It’s really well set out and in a lovely location.It was easy to get hold of Nick and he was very accommodating and helpful when needed.

We had a lovely weekend with 11 of us celebrating my dad’s 80th birthday at The Granary.The house was exactly as pictured. It was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The weather was cold and wet so we didn’t get to use the outside space but the main living space was so lovely with the huge windows and views outside. It was a perfect dinner party space.Be aware, the location is beautifully rural and, therefore, wifi and mobile signal are very poor - a perfect excuse to encourage the kids to be ‘off grid’ for a bit!Bedrooms 2 and 3 are above bedroom 1 accessed via the spiral staircase and the galleried second lounge. They all share the wet room. Bedrooms 4, 5 and 6 are accessed via a separate normal staircase and are above the main living space.
