Poor, neglected, weed strewn frontage. It's basically a luxury metal box with almost a whole wall of glass facing south. Opening the doors allowed an invasion of flies from the nearby fields with cows on one side and lakes on the other. Had to rush out and buy loads of fly spray and lots of those sticky hang up tapes.No shade on the decking area. Most Venetian blinds were damaged with no shade on south glass side.Poorly equipped for six people, e.g. glasses, plate mats, coat hanging. The TV didn't work - weak signal. Wi-fi worked OK. No on site contact. No tourist info. Giant wall clock didn't work. No onsite shop, only a bar/cafe.Air con saved the day a bit as we had to keep the doors closed all the time. The extra bed for additional two was on the floor in the corner of the open plan kitchen. Really only suitable for four adults, perhaps two children. Sent a complaint to Sykes but have received no reply from my letter.

The bbq was very dirty and we had to clean it ourselves so we could use it which you shouldnât expect when you are paying this price. Apart from that the hot tub was really nice and we had a relaxing weekend.
