Beach lovers will find lots of pretty beaches littering the coastline, including Hunstanton where the beach really does seem to stretch for ever. Nicknamed ‘Sunny Hunny’ by the locals, here you can find all the traditional fun of the fair with a small fairground, seaside amusements and lots of traditional seaside shops selling fun souvenirs. For a change of pace, head to Wells-next-the-Sea with its picturesque quay and narrow gauge railway that takes you to the beach, and Brancaster Beach is also close by. Artisan shops and cafes line the streets and you can also catch a steam train to the bustling market seaside resort of Sheringham. Burnham Market is also a popular market town that is not to be missed.

Those seeking some history will be spoilt for choice with Holkham Hall, the Sandringham Estate and many others all within easy reach. Also worth a visit are the medieval city of Norwich with its numerous museums and the Hanseatic Port of Kings Lynn. Having worked up an appetite, guests will be able to enjoy the areas growing foodie reputation at one of the local pubs and restaurants, many of which serve local produce including the ‘catch of the day’. Then, it’s back to welcoming Seashells to plan your next adventure. Shops, pubs and restaurants within 1 mile.
