With open views across the fields to the rear and large gardens and grounds to enjoy, this delightful holiday home is great for a family break. Three bedrooms benefit from en-suites and there is a large hot tub with views of the paddock and open fields where you can relax after a busy day out exploring. The well-equipped kitchen features a centre island with stools around where you can enjoy your morning coffee. The drawing room has three comfortable sofas where guests can relax The bar and games room and hot tub are located in the paddock, just 3 metres from the house. The hot tub sits in a gravelled area, with tables and chairs positioned outside the games room/bar for outdoor seating. Inside the bar, you’ll find a non-professional pool table, a dartboard, and a selection of games for entertainment. The space is also equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, and toilet for convenience.
The historic town of King’s Lynn is just 7 miles away with its market square and picturesque riverside; visitors will find shops, pubs and restaurants in abundance. Golf, riding and fishing are close by. Sandy beaches as well as rspb reserves are within half an hour’s drive. North Norfolk has expanses of sandy beaches and salt marshes along the coastline, as well as nature reserves to protect the birds and plants which thrive there. The seaside resorts of Hunstanton and Heacham boast award-winning beaches and an array of traditional seaside activities and attractions for all ages. Hunstanton has a pier with lively seasonal entertainment, Sea Life Centre and cliff-top golf course.
The Sandringham Estate, which is the Queen’s country residence, with its Jacobean-style house, museum, superb gardens and park, is open to the public when the Royal family is not in residence. The market town of Wisbech is 7 miles. Downham Market is 12 miles away with its Friday and Saturday markets and boasts direct rail links to Ely, Cambridge and London. To the south lies Ely Cathedral, known as the ’Ship of the Fens’, standing proudly in the small city of Ely, which has an excellent Saturday market and a good variety of gift shops, as well as a pretty waterfront and boat hire. Cambridge is easily accessible for the day and well worth a visit. One of the nicest ways to explore the city is by punt, which meanders through the city and passes many of the stunning university grounds. Norwich is an hour’s drive where a visit to the stunning cathedral is not to be missed. Beach 19½ miles. Shop and pub 1 mile, restaurant 1½ miles.

Had the happiest week in walnut tree house this Christmas once we had un packed felt so at home. Everything we required was there. If you like your all bathrooms this house delivers! The games room was great( especially if you visit in the summer) and the hot tub a bonus. Only tiny moan letting taking dogs out at night could do with better lighting. Managed with a small torch & amazing star lit sky so my advice is book this relaxed family large coat home.

We have just spent a wonderful week at Walnut Tree House. We had a great time, the house was very comfortable and so well equipped for all ages, a lot of thought gone into it. Not a lot of local amenities, although there is a small village shop in nearby Terrington along with a very good fish & chip shop. The pub The Buck doesn’t serve food only on a curry night. Can recommend The Barn Restaurant.A big thank you to Heidi & Graham for making our stay so enjoyable.

Beautiful house and garden. Everything you need and more. Perfect for children and adults. Heidi, the owner is delightful and always helpful. We had a great time.
