Refurbished in 2021 The Old Joinery is a charming, single storey property, tucked away on a quiet lane in Cley-next-the-Sea. Only a couple of minutes' walk to the centre of the village with all its fantastic amenities, this hideaway is ideally located for exploring coastal and rural North Norfolk.
With a bright sitting/dining room featuring french doors leading to the fully enclosed garden, a well-equipped kitchen and two delightful bedrooms it is ideal for couples or a small family looking for a comfortable home from home in this pretty coastal village. There is ample space to park two cars to the rear of the property, which is a bonus in Cley, especially during busy times.
There is so much to see and do here right on the doorstep, such as independent shops, galleries, coastal walks and the beach, that you may want to stay put. You can also venture out to nearby villages like Blakeney, where you can try crabbing from the quay, or take a boat trip out to see the seals. At Wiveton, you will find the renowned Wiveton Hall and Cafe. For venturing further afield, you can leave the car and take the Coasthopper Bus that traverses the many other pretty villages and beaches along the coast in either direction.
Perfect for a coastal escape whatever the season.

It was another excellent holiday at The Old Joinery. It is a comfortable, cosy cottage, clean, well appointed, warm and light. I hope the new owner will keep it on your books.

Lovely place. We've stayed there lots times. Very quiet. Good you can park car not far from the coastal path. Good walks to Blakeney and Cley Reserve Cafe. Sure we will be back. Not too far to Holt and other coastal towns.

This is the second time that we have stayed here in January. Perfect for walking & bird watching. The cottage is warm, super clean & comfortable. The kitchen has everything that you could need & has plenty of mugs & glasses! We will definitely be coming back.
