A pretty end-of-terrace cottage sleeping four guests situated in the tranquil Norfolk village of Helhoughton situated fifteen miles from beaches on both the north and west coasts of Norfolk. To the north the pretty harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea boasts a beautiful sandy beach which is backed by a string of brightly coloured beach huts and pine woodlands. On the west coast meanwhile there are a choice of quiet village beaches such as those at Snettisham and Heacham as well as the popular resort town of Hunstanton with its traditional beachfront entertainment and Sea Life sanctuary. Closer to the cottage the market town of Fakenham is a great place for stocking up on supplies and for enjoying a leisurely afternoon browsing the shops.
The front door of this attractive cottage opens into a hallway which in turn leads onto the lounge which has an attractive period feel to it with its large brick fireplace in which sits a warming wood burner. There is comfortable seating as well as a large antique dresser well-stocked with books and a TV/DVD. A door leads through to the kitchen/diner has been finished in the traditional style of a country cottage and offers a dining table seating five as well as everything that guests will need to prepare all their favourite dishes including an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC. The first bedroom is a cosy king-size room whilst the second is a peaceful room with twin beds and a feature fireplace. Outside the cottage boasts a spacious garden which extends around the side and rear of the property. Just outside the backdoor there is a patio seating area with garden furniture and a parasol whilst on the lawn there is a summerhouse offering guests a lovely spot to relax with a good book or perhaps just drinks. An outbuilding houses a washing machine and dryer plus a handy area to store bicycles.
There is off-road parking for one car as well as additional parking available on the road (please note that the driveway is shared with the neighbour).
