1 Church Cottage is a pretty period cottage, located in the charming conservation village of Hempstead, only a short drive from Holt and the North Norfolk coast. This cosy two bedroom cottage offers a mix of modern living and traditional charm, and is ideal all year round for a family, small group of friends or couples enjoying a short stay or longer holiday.

On entering the cottage via the gorgeous English country garden in to the utility room (which has a washer/dryer, integrated freezer, microwave and sink), you are welcomed in to an open plan living area of a kitchen / diner which leads on to a cosy sitting room with an Inglenook fireplace and multi-fuel burning stove. The whole space is awash with original period features and with light flooding in from both sides, with wonderful views over the churchyard with its picturesque thatched apse. The fitted kitchen has a Butlers sink and Everhot electric oven and induction hob, and is equipped for keen cooks to create a local feast. Upstairs there are two king-size bedrooms, one with a slipper bath, sink and en-suite WC, while the other has access to the family shower room. Both bedrooms have windows overlooking the gorgeous churchyard. 1 Church Cottage is environmentally friendly with an air source heat pump and underfloor heating on the ground floor and is also strongly allergy conscious, as it has a no pets policy and both bedrooms have hypoallergenic, 100% cotton bedding.

A rural idyll, Holt's vibrant High Street with its uniquely individual shops and extensive amenities is the nearest hub at only two miles away. Visit some of the best eateries in North Norfolk, The Owl Tea Rooms, Eric's Pizzas and Two Magpies Bakery, and for the real foodies amongst you, make sure you book well in advance for Meadowsweet, Holt's Michelin star restaurant. The stunning North Norfolk coastline of Salthouse, Cley, Blakeney, and Morston all within super easy reach by car.
