Guests say

Almond Tree Cottage in Holt is consistently praised for its great location, comfort, and well-equipped nature, making it an ideal base for exploring North Norfolk. Guests appreciate the property's charm, cleanliness, and the welcoming atmosphere that makes it feel like a home away from home. The cottage is also noted for being dog-friendly and having a cosy, relaxing vibe.

Guests frequently describe the cottage as immaculate, indicating a high standard of cleanliness. The property's tidiness contributes positively to the overall experience.

The cottage's location is highly commended for its proximity to local amenities, the coast, and attractions. Its central position in Holt is ideal for both shopping and exploring the surrounding areas.

Reviewers find the cottage cosy, comfortable, and well-equipped, suggesting that it provides a relaxing environment. The presence of garden furniture and a welcoming feel further enhance guest comfort.

The property is noted for being well-equipped and thoughtfully furnished. However, the mention of steep stairs suggests that accessibility could be an issue for some guests, which is why the score is not perfect.

While the reviews reflect a high level of satisfaction with the property's offerings, there is no specific mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

We had a lovely stay. The location means you can be on Holt high street for a short walk. We have two teenage children, so they really liked being able to look around. Holt is a great base for exploring the coast. The cottage was perfect for us.

Handy central location. Short distance to coast by car. Clean and comfortable and very dog friendly. Spout Hills excellent and at hand for dog walks each morning.

Excellent location just minutes walk from the centre of Holt, Almond Treet Cottage is a cute little property that was perfect for our family of five + dog. The rooms are actually larger and more spacious than they appear on the pictures and the secure yard perfect for the kids and dog to have a play. Generally well-equipped too, but they really do mean it when they say the stairs are steep - no good for elderly and we had to be very careful with our toddlers (again they warn about this, so not a complaint). Despite the parking restrictions we didn't need to use the permitted parking (5-7 mins walk away) for our entire week, instead managing to find on street unrestricted parking further down the street for the entirety of our stay - despite it being half term week. Fully recommend this cottage, especially if you want to explore Holt in particular.
