Boasting lots of original features, which have been carefully coupled with a light and airy contemporary feel, it boasts four bathrooms, three of which are en-suite, a stylish multi-fuel burner and a private hot tub. With a floating landing that sees you walk through the high ceilings on the first floor, this barn really is unique. And, at under 5 miles from the stunning North Norfolk Coast and just 10 miles from the Norfolk Broads, it is also in a great location to explore all that the area has to offer.
Head to the pretty seaside village of Mundesley with its wide sandy beach and unspoilt charm. Then, head west from there and find yourself in Cromer with its famous pier, Edwardian seafront, Amazonia Zoo and cinema. A little further is the bustling market town of Sheringham, popular with holidaymakers and locals alike. Head east to experience all the fun of the fair and explore the golden mile of Great Yarmouth. In fact, all along the coast in both directions you will find a string of coastal villages with various beach habitats, including grassy sand dunes, shingle and sand beaches, and marshes and quays.
History buffs will find much to see and do including The Blickling Estate and the Thursford and Muckleburgh Collections. Wildlife and nature fans can explore the Broads, Sheringham Park and Cley Marshes. For those wishing to explore on foot, you will find the nearby market town of North Walsham offers lots of places to eat and drink, and the woods offer picturesque walks. In fact, there is so much to see and do you will be pleased to head back to Pipistrelle Barn after a busy day to relax and unwind in the private hot tub. Beach 4 miles. Excellent long weekend break with friends! We especially loved the hot tub, and then relaxing in front of the cosy log burner.Some minor issues with one of the toilets, but sorted out very swiftly!

Beautiful, spacious barn that was very well equipped and thoughtfully furnished.Could have been cleaner with lots of cobwebs and dirt left on items over eye level.Leaving the property was made difficult as surrounding properties would not allow you to turn around so you had to reverse down a narrow, pot holed lane.

Pipistrelle barn was a beautiful place to stay! Very warm and cosy with lots of space and the host was very responsive. My only improvement would be that the host contacts you sooner to give you the key code for access to the property and instructions for use of the hot tub etc was in an easier place to access. Maybe a welcome information email or text message ahead of time would be helpful, as we had to call the host a few times to help us with access to the property and using the hot tub, not realising there was a folder hidden in the corner of the kitchen.
