Squirrel Lodge is praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches, making it a lovely base for exploring Norfolk. Guests appreciate the well-maintained property and its location, though minor suggestions for improvements are noted.
Guests consistently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'very clean', 'spotlessly clean', and 'fresh'. This indicates a high standard of cleanliness throughout the lodge.
The location is well-regarded with the property being 'ideally placed' for visiting local attractions and its proximity to Mundesley beach. However, one review suggests improving visibility when exiting the driveway.
The lodge is frequently described as comfortable and cosy, with guests finding their stay 'really comfortable' and the property 'comfortable, easy living accommodation'.
Facilities are generally good but with room for improvement. Guests suggest adding a security light, anti-slip mats, and softer lighting. The need for minor tweaks and additional bathroom amenities is mentioned.
Thoughtful touches are highlighted, such as a welcome basket and the owners' responsiveness. However, it should be noted that such gestures are at the owners' discretion and may not be guaranteed.

Much enjoyed by all the family, including Teddy the dog!

The property is quite spacious and very clean. The fittings and equipment are second to none. The owners had left us a beautiful welcome basket which was very kind of them. The back garden is well enclosed and our little dog was quite safe there and all we had to watch for was that he couldnât dart out of the front door. The property is nicely situated and only a short ride from Mundesley beach which we enjoyed very much. We would thoroughly recommend this letting to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in a very pleasant area.

Itâs recently converted so everything is new and feels it. Was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend break. I managed to knock the boiler switch without realising and lost hot water whilst there, the owners were over within minutes to fix. Would definitely head back again if the chance arose.
