This charming cottage is perfect for families, just metres from the beach and close to Cromer and a variety of attractions. Cosy and welcoming, it has two bathrooms and a pretty garden where you can relax in the sunshine with a BBQ.

Joyful colours mingle with historic features and pretty furnishings in this cosy, comfortable property. The sleek kitchen, renovated in 2022, is well equipped for preparing all kinds of meals, complemented by a utility room which includes a second fridge, a freezer and laundry facilities. In the separate dining room you can create a celebratory atmosphere for your special getaway, and the table has plenty of space for lingering after you’ve eaten, swapping stories or perhaps playing a game of cards. The delightful lounge has soft sofas and a TV/DVD for evening entertainment, with an extensive library of DVDs, and in the winter months you can light the wood burner for extra cosiness. A family shower room completes the ground floor, while on the first floor there are two bedrooms, one of which is king-size and boasts a spacious en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom sleeps three people in hotel-standard single beds. For drinks and dining al fresco, step out into the enclosed courtyard at the back of the cottage, or head through two gates to the lawn where you’ll find seating.

In a quiet, residential part of the coastal village of Overstrand, the cottage is only 300 metres from the beach and a cliff-top cafe with fabulous views, and the same distance from a children’s playground. You can reach Cromer in 2 miles (either by car or by walking along the coastal path), where you’ll find a beach, shops, places to eat and a Victorian pier, as well as the family attraction of Amazona Zoo.
