Surrounded by the rural serenity of South Raynham, this stylish and sophisticated countryside retreat offers plenty to keep families and groups of friends entertained, from an indoor heated swimming pool to a games room with bar and gym equipment.
The soothing neutral colour palette, Nordic-style decor and generous dining table in the spacious kitchen/diner create a relaxed yet vibrant social atmosphere that invites the whole party to gather, whilst the roaring wood burner and plush soft furnishings in the homely lounge beckon weary walking muscles to unwind at the end of a busy day. Where comfort and flexibility coexist in perfect harmony, each of the five bedrooms, one super-king-size with sofa bed, two super-king-size, one king-size and one family bedroom with bunk and super-king-size zip-and-link beds (can be converted to two singles), each feature crisp linens that ensure a peaceful slumber. If you’ve still got plenty of energy left, enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool and games room with bar and gym equipment, or outside, find an oasis of serenity relaxing in the covered, heating seating area, roasting marshmallows over the fire pit or unwinding in the hot tub.
The quaint village of South Raynham, nestled in the heart of Norfolk’s unspoilt countryside, is perfectly positioned for discovering both the enchanting countryside and coast that makes Norfolk so irresistible. Nature enthusiasts can venture to the magnificent Raynham Estate 1.5 miles away to uncover beautiful walking trails, historic buildings and delightful gardens. Culture vultures won’t be able to resist the allure of Fakenham (5 miles), the largest market town in Norfolk, famous for its local boutiques and vintage shops. The sandy stretch of Wells-next-the-Sea, with its colourful beach huts, and the marshlands at Burnham Overy Staithe, can both be reached within 16 miles.

It was a perfect holiday home for our family get together.
Mr North
We had a wonderful weekend celebrating both a 70th birthday and a Golden Wedding. There were twelve of us - seven adults, five children and two dogs with ages ranging from four years to seventy three and everyone had a really good time. Very clean property with excellent facilities. Castle Acre castle and Priory are worth a visit and allow the younger ones to run off steam. We also visited Wells Next The Sea, always a lovely place to go. We had a wonderful evening meal at Sculthorpe Mill which is in a lovely setting and an excellent lunch at The Red Lion in Cromer before going our separate ways and driving home.
