A lovely sunny entrance hall leads in to a harmonious stylish sitting room with a wood burning stove and french doors to the garden. There is a separate snug/games room across the hallway with a large Smart television, Retro Upright Arcade games machine and Table Football. A generous well-equipped fitted kitchen with all the mod cons has a door leading to the patio and bistro table - your morning coffee venue sorted for sure! There is a long island running down centre of the kitchen with bar stools, which then leads in to a dining room - with a second wood burning stove - for more formal dining. On the upper level you will find the four luxurious bedrooms: a superb master suite with a king-size bed, dressing room and en-suite shower, second king-size room also with en-suite shower and the two twin bedded rooms which share a family bathroom with bath and shower, ensuring comfort and convenience. The thoughtfully designed layout of the property provides ample space for a large family as well as couples and groups of friends. A wonderful holiday at Scarrowbeck House. Perfect accommodation for our family across three generations. All the rooms were beautifully decorated and there was plenty of space both inside and outside the property. Being typical British weather we made use of the lovely fireplace and games room plus outside seating and BBQ. It's a great location to visit Norfolk beaches and the Norfolk broads. We enjoyed being in the heart of the countryside and seeing the cows walking past the window. Thank you to Norfolk Hideways and the host who were really helpful and we will treasure some happy memories made there.

A wonderful home from home. We had a fabulous week with an extended gathering of friends and family. The enclosed garden, the Common opposite and peaceful walks from the door along quiet lanes and footpaths (including sections of the Weavers Way) were perfect for daily jaunts with our lively Labrador. In spitting distance are lots of places to visit and eat around NE Norfolk, although we mostly feasted in house having everything we needed - bar guest room mirrors and a large serving spoon. For a large group we would have appreciated more mugs and water glasses to save washing by hand as often in between meals. But this is now aiming for perfection! Youngsters (and some more mature members) enjoyed the Games room. All the living areas had space aplenty for 8 of us. The kitchen with long island and comfortable seating was everyoneâs base though. A lovely light feeling throughout. Beautifully decorated and furnished, it felt quite luxurious for a holiday house. Small queries were responded to immediately by the owner whose number was provided. Internet and phone signal were surprisingly good. We loved it and would happily return.

We had a wonderful week at Scarrowbeck House. Everything is so thoughtfully laid out and the house was absolutely spotless and very well equipped. You can see immediately that a lot of time and effort has been made to make it a perfect retreat - the games room is a particularly nice touch for any children staying. The surrounding area was so peaceful and our children really enjoyed exploring the common, which is just out of the front door and was home to a variety of wildlife. The house was a perfect base for exploring lots of nearby beaches, houses and lovely villages and the surrounding country roads were ideal for bike rides too. Highly recommended!
