Party of eight visited to celebrate an 80th birthday. Brilliant barn conversion, all mod cons, super indoor swimming pool and lovely gardens in which to relax. We had a minor problem with the Aga thermostat but, in the absence of a user manual, had to contact the owner, via Norfolk Hideaways, to resolve the problem. That certainly didn't spoil our excellent stay. One general moan is the post-Covid universal request to strip beds. We are all pensioners and this is a testing task. I assume property owners employ service staff and yet guests are asked to do a significant part of their duties for them, as well as arriving later and leaving earlier to give them more time to complete their work. Is this really necessary? I imagine that asking owners to come and help guests with their packing would not be considered a reasonable quid pro quo!! Nevertheless, we would all love to holiday at Primrose Farm Barn again. Reply Thank you for your lovely review â weâre delighted you chose Primrose Farm Barn for such a special celebration and that you all enjoyed the space, gardens and pool. We really appreciate you flagging the Aga thermostat issue (it had broken), and Iâm glad we were able to get that sorted quickly so it didnât detract from your stay. Regarding the request to bag linen and towels. Please rest assured this isnât compulsory. Itâs simply a small favour that helps our housekeeping team make the most of their limited time between departures and arrivals, especially in a large property like ours. Many guests are happy to help, but we completely understand that itâs not practical for everyone. Thank you again for your kind wordsâ weâd be delighted to welcome you all back for another family gathering in the future.
