The cottage was named after a wonderful great aunt, with whom the owner holidayed in Sheringham many times before she even owned this lovely cottage. Here you will find a cosy sitting room, a well-equipped kitchen if you fancy making a home cooked meal and three bedrooms with two bathrooms, offering two shower cubicles and a bath. There is a lovely, enclosed south facing garden with a patio, which is something of a suntrap, making this perfect for those families with little ones.
There is much to see and do in the area whatever the season, whether you are enjoying getting sandy toes and wild swimming or undertaking a blustery beach walk. This part of the county is packed with coastal habitats and history all waiting to be explored. And from here it is very easy to visit the Broads and the city too, the town even has its own mainline train station that will take you to both, if you would like a day without your car. If you choose to explore on-foot you will discover North Norfolk Heritage Railway, two museums and a host of great places to eat, shop and drink, many of which are artisan and boutique local enterprises. This really is a charming coastal North Norfolk town and Ruby’s Retreat has bags of individual charm of its own. In fact, you are sure to fall in love with both, and want to return!

We have stayed in quite a few rentals in Sheringham and this is our favourite! The secure garden was great for the dog, the location was perfect, super well equipped - the house felt a home from home and the beds were very comfy! 5 stars totally deserved. Thanks so much for a lovely stay :)

Lovely house with everything you could possibly need. Well situated for the beach, shops, pubs and good walks.A little disappointed that there was no welcome pack, and no idea how the upstairs tv worked, but not an issue as the one downstairs was fine.Had a lovely two weeks with great weather and would certainly book again in the future.

A lovely little house very near to shops and seafront , very roomy and nice and clean .Few minor things , parking hard so we kept car in the spot we found and used local buses which were good .Also issue with keys , getting into back door which was rather tricky but overall good value for money .
